Booking #428 — see you soon!
Your calendar is only as good as the message you answered last
A client asks whether you can fit in a colour on Friday. You're mid-cut, so the reply waits until the break — by then two more people have asked about the weekend, and you're doing calendar maths from memory.
Hair services don't all take the same time. A fringe trim, a cut and blow-dry, and a full balayage need very different blocks, and a booking made in a chat doesn't know that. That's how a long colour ends up squeezed into a gap that was only ever big enough for a trim.
How it works for a hairdresser
Add your menu with real durations
Enter each service with its price and how long it really takes — for example 45 minutes for a cut, 2 hours for root colour, 3 hours for balayage.
Set your working week
Add your regular hours for each day, then mark days off or shorter days on specific dates, like a holiday or a training day.
Share your link
Put the booking link in your Instagram bio and reply to new enquiries with it instead of a list of times.
Online booking linkClients only see times that fit
When a client picks balayage, only start times with the full 3 hours free appear — there's no way to book it into a short gap.
Everything else goes in the same calendar
Bookings that come in by phone or at the chair are added from your dashboard, so online slots close up automatically.
What you get
A duration on every service
Availability is calculated from your working hours minus existing appointments, using each service's own length.
No double-booked chair
Two appointments can't overlap for the same specialist — this is enforced by the database, not just hidden in the interface.
Client history
See each client's past visits, favourite service, and how often they usually come back — useful when a regular asks for 'the same as last time'.
Photos of your work on services
Basic plan and upAdd a photo to each service and your own cover image and colours to the booking page.
Automatic reminders
Basic plan and upTelegram reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment, for clients who booked through Telegram.
Plan details are on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed online through Dodo Payments.
Good to know before you start
- There's no separate buffer or processing-time setting. If you need cleanup time after a service, build it into that service's duration.
- One appointment blocks the specialist for its whole length — you can't book a second client into the processing time of a colour.
- Clients can cancel themselves (at least 2 hours ahead), but can't move an appointment. You reschedule from the dashboard.
- No deposits or online payments — clients pay you in the salon as usual.
Questions
Is it free for a solo hairdresser?
Yes. The Free plan covers one specialist and up to 5 services, with no limit on the number of bookings. Custom branding and reminders come with paid plans.
I have more than 5 services. What do I do on the Free plan?
Group close variations into one service and explain the options in its description — for example one 'Cut and blow-dry' with length notes. Paid plans raise the service limit.
Do my clients need Telegram?
No. The same booking flow opens in any browser; web clients enter their first name and phone number instead. Automatic Telegram messages only reach clients who booked through Telegram.
Can I block out a day for a course or a holiday?
Yes. Date overrides let you mark a specific day off or set different hours for it, without changing your regular week.
