How to create a Telegram booking bot, step by step
You don't need to write a bot. You create an empty one in BotFather, paste its token into Write Me TG, and answer six questions so your booking screen opens inside Telegram. The dashboard walks you through every message to send.

Most guides stop where the work starts
Search for how to make a booking bot and you get two kinds of answer: write it yourself and rent a server to keep it running, or draw a flow in a chatbot builder and still end up with something that doesn't know when you're free.
The bot is the easy part. The hard part is the calendar behind it: services of different lengths, working hours, days off, two clients wanting the same time. Here the bot is only the door. It opens a booking screen that reads your real schedule.
The setup, in order
Create the bot in BotFather
Open BotFather, Telegram's official bot maker, and send it /newbot. Choose the name clients will see at the top of the chat and a username that ends in "bot". BotFather replies with a token.
Paste the token into your dashboard
The token connects the bot to your business. It works like a password to the bot, so paste it only there and don't share it.
Connect your own Telegram account
Open your new bot and press Start. That tells the bot who the owner is, so you can open the admin panel right inside Telegram.
Add the booking screen with /newapp
Send /newapp to BotFather and answer its six questions: title, description, picture, GIF, Web App URL and short name. The dashboard gives you each answer to copy, including a ready-made picture.
Test your booking link
Open your booking link in Telegram. The setup page confirms by itself that it works, as soon as Telegram opens the booking screen.

What you have when it's done
A bot with your name and picture
Clients see your bot, not a shared one. Its name and photo are the ones you set in BotFather.
A booking screen right in the chat
The client picks a service, a specialist and a time without leaving Telegram, and without typing a name or a phone number.
Confirmations in the same chat
Every booking is confirmed by a message from your bot, on every plan.
Reminders before the visit
Basic plan and upMessages 24 hours and 2 hours before the appointment.
An admin panel in Telegram
Once your account is connected, you open your business's admin panel straight from the bot.
Plan details are on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed online through Dodo Payments.
Good to know before you start
- It isn't one click. You send the messages to BotFather yourself, because Telegram only lets the owner create and configure a bot.
- The /newapp answers must be entered exactly as given. With a different short name or Web App URL, the link opens an empty chat instead of the booking screen.
- This sets up booking, not a general-purpose chatbot. The bot doesn't answer questions or run custom scripts.
- Clients who book through the web link don't get Telegram messages.
- Changing the bot's name or photo later is done in BotFather, not in the dashboard.
Questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You copy a few messages into BotFather and paste one token. There is no code to write and no server to run.
Is the Telegram bot included in the Free plan?
Yes. Booking inside Telegram and booking confirmations are on every plan. Reminders start on the Basic plan.
My booking link opens an empty chat. What went wrong?
Check the four things the setup page lists: the booking setup was finished for your bot, the short name and the Web App URL match exactly, and you did it all in the BotFather chat for the right bot.
What if my clients don't use Telegram?
Give them the web booking link. It's the same booking flow in a browser, with a name and phone number instead of a Telegram account.
Try it with your own services
Set up your menu and hours on the Free plan, then share your link.
